Finance Agent Index

How Finance Agent Index Evaluates Products and Evidence

Finance Agent Index compares financial-agent workflows using official documentation, explicit action boundaries and reproducible examples. A product description is evidence of what the vendor says it offers; it is not a measured result from this portal. Our methodology keeps those distinctions visible.

What qualifies for inclusion

A product or topic belongs in this index when it connects an AI agent to a financial operation. Relevant outputs include accounting proposals, invoice drafts, payment investigations, reconciliation allocations and treasury findings. General-purpose chat features need a clear financial workflow before they qualify for coverage.

We identify the actor, input, output and authority involved. An agent that reads a balance and an agent that submits a payment need different evaluation questions. The article should name that difference rather than using autonomous as a universal description of the product.

Coverage is organized around the reader's task. Category pages explain the workflow; detailed guides provide worked examples; product profiles examine documented scope; comparisons apply consistent criteria. A longer feature list does not automatically indicate a better fit for a particular accounting or treasury team.

Distinguish the kinds of evidence

Official product pages establish the vendor's public description. Detailed help or integration documentation can establish a more specific behavior and its conditions. A public customer story reports the vendor's account of that experience. These sources are useful, but they are not interchangeable with a test we have performed.

A demonstration shows a selected task under a selected configuration. A controlled evaluation can compare observed outputs with expected outcomes. A production observation can describe a particular live workflow and time period. Each kind of evidence has a scope, and an article should not silently promote one into another.

Our synthetic datasets define inputs and expected outcomes for teaching or a reader's pilot. They contain no measured vendor results unless a separate, documented evaluation explicitly supplies them. Correct arithmetic in an example does not prove that a product would produce the same result.

Affiliated products are described by their financial workflows and identified as related to this portal's owner. A product description does not imply that we have measured customer outcomes or independently audited every integration. Claims about tests, transactions and performance need their own evidence.

Keep current facts connected to sources

Product capabilities, supported workspaces, integration conditions and protocol behavior can change. We attach a checked date to official sources used for changing facts. The date describes when the source was checked, not a guarantee that the statement will remain true indefinitely.

A source must support the particular assertion it accompanies. A general homepage cannot establish every implementation detail. A documentation interface cannot be assumed to provide live account execution. If the source does not answer a material question, the article records the gap or turns it into a provider question.

When source access fails, the failure does not prove that a capability exists or is absent. We avoid deriving product claims from an unavailable page. Search snippets and old descriptions can guide further investigation, but they should not replace current primary evidence for a consequential claim.

Compare like outputs with like criteria

A useful comparison asks each relevant product the same questions: what task does it perform, which record does it produce, how does it connect to the intended system, what approval is required and what evidence remains afterward? The criteria should reflect the financial decision the reader needs to make.

We do not force different product categories into a single score. A document-guidance tool and a recurring-close agent can both be useful while producing different outputs. The comparison identifies those differences and suggests the relevant pilot, rather than inventing a numerical ranking.

Prices, geographic access and plan conditions require applicable evidence. We do not fill missing values with estimates that look authoritative. Not confirmed means the evidence in the comparison is insufficient; it does not necessarily mean the vendor lacks the feature.

Evaluate examples and recommendations honestly

Worked examples preserve source references, assumptions and financial balances. Reconciliation examples distinguish invoice value, allocations and unapplied cash. Cash-management examples identify the modeled period and changes in timing. Recommendations about review or permissions are described as our workflow advice, not attributed to a protocol without support.

A hands-on claim requires a documented input set, configuration, expected result and observed output. If those records do not exist, we do not say that we tested the product. Marketing accuracy or time-saving percentages are not adopted as our own findings.

Independent editorial review checks clarity, factual support, scope and the consistency of text and visuals. It also checks that a correct escalation is not mislabeled as failure just because the agent did not complete a financial action. Uncertainty can be the useful result when evidence is missing.

Disclose relationships and handle corrections

Agentify, MagicPay and X402 Hub are associated with the owner's product portfolio. Relevant affiliated links disclose that relationship. Commercial interest does not remove the need for accurate scope, honest examples and clear separation between a recommendation and measured evidence.

A useful correction identifies the article URL, disputed claim and supporting source. A dedicated portal correction address is not published. Igor Soldatov owns the portal; affiliated product-support channels serve their respective products and should not be treated as an editorial inbox. A changed product page may justify an update, while a factual error should be corrected directly. We do not publish a fictional correction history.

Use this methodology to interpret the index rather than treating inclusion as certification. The final purchasing, accounting or permission decision belongs to the reader's authorized organization and the applicable professional review process.
